Daniel Black is an award-winning novelist, professor, and activist. His dynamic, captivating and beautifully written published works include They Tell Me of Home, The Sacred Place, Perfect Peace, Twelve Gates to the City, The Coming, and Listen to the Lambs. Each book has been hailed as literary jewels.

Pulitzer Prize-winning author Alice Walker said: “Perfect Peace is a spellbinding novel that kept me reading late into several nights.”

Dr. Black earned his Ph.D. in African American Studies at Temple University and is a professor of African American Studies at his alma mater, Clark Atlanta University.

He lives in Atlanta and is the founder of the Ndugu-Nzinga Rites of Passage Nation, a mentoring society for African American youth.

His next book is Don’t Cry For Me, which will be released in 2020.
