C. Erskine Brown is the author of A Cry Among Men, a thought-provoking book that marks “the night of the most horrific act of hate and racism of our time; and the start of the most hellish fight of Don Wilcox’s life.” As a child growing up in Norfolk, Virginia, he had a bitter disregard for reading. But now, reading and writing have become his passions.
In fact, he sees good fiction as well-crafted word art peppered with specs of truth and fantasy. A Cry Among Men is his first novel, the reverse adaption of his highly controversial screenplay which was a Final Draft, Big Break Screenwriting Contest semifinalist.
